All About Ms. Choate

I am orginally from Cadiz, KY where I graduated from Trigg County High School in 2003.  I graduated from Murray State University in May of 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Middle School Education.  My Core Content areas are Language Arts and Social Studies.  This is my second year teaching 6th grade Language Arts at Caldwell County Middle School.

In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, photography, reading good books, and listening to Echo Grey, my fiance's band.  I also am a big fan of recycling, eating healthy foods, and exercising.

My fiance, Ryan, and I will be getting married on May 29, 2010.  He is absolutely amazing; I can't imagine life without him!  He is my everything. Laughing  We just recently bought a house this summer in Possum Trot (yes this is a real place) which is located in Marshall County.

I have three "children": Joseph, Peter, and Rosa.  Joseph, or better known as Joe, is a large, brown dog.  We are unsure what breed of dog he really is.  He definitely is the wisest and most well mannered of the three.  Peter (also known as Pete, Petey, P-Cat, or Peterson) was rescued from the Paducah Animal Shelter right before the Winter Storm in January.  He is very fuzzy and always gets fed before anyone else.  Rosa is a 15 week old Daschund-Beagle mix who we got for free this summer from the Mayfield Auction Barn.  She is currently learning new tricks; so far she has mastered sit, lay down, and high-five.  She definitely is a little princess.
